About
GSkelly is a guitarist, keyboardist, songwriter, and singer based in New England. He first picked up the guitar at 14 and began gigging around during high school, later exploring jazz fusion through college.
Previously named Unsigned Artist of the Month by Keyboard Magazine, G has since explored a wide range of sounds, from his early fusion roots to his current mix of electronic music with spoken-style lyrics and folksy songwriting.
His influences include John Mayer, Dave Matthews, David Bowie, Underworld, Massive Attack, Zero 7, Ingrid Michaelson, Eric Clapton, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
When he’s not writing or recording in his home studio, he performs with several regional bands, including The Legendary House Red Band & Modeling Agency and The Roadworn Ramblers, playing across Massachusetts, Vermont, and throughout New England.

Besides being the lead guitarist in multiple bands and playing live at every chance he gets, GSkelly also writes and produces his own music. Following a hiatus after his first three studio albums, since January 2024, G has fully produced and recorded 20 songs (actually, many more) in his studio outside of Boston.
The tunes on his pre-release schedule will be re-recorded with well-known Boston-based recording artists in outside studios in 2026 through 2027, then released as singles then compiled into EPs.
These raw early versions (which are actually fully produced) will be pre-released on a rolling basis in 2026-2027 on Instagram and Bandcamp for followers.

Want to record in G's studio?
FOR A LIMITED TIME, ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS
WITH LIMITED AVAILABILITY, AND LOTS OF LIMITATIONS
STUDIO 31 IS OPEN FOR BOOKINGS!*
*limited offer, available solely at GSkelly's discretion
Odds are quite high that you are a singer songwriter, you've done some open mics, and you'd love to release your music but you can't afford serious studio time. If you're around the Concord, MA area, this is a great chance to collaborate!
Studio 31 is rather basic, but sounds suprisingly good. And the best part: it's available for bookings for next to nothing.
Think "barter" and be creative about it.
Music is all about connecting, and this is a fun way to make connections.
Live Performance
Slot #6
Most every Monday night at Sanctuary in Maynard, MA.
Slot #6 is an open quasi-band that does not rehearse, but loves to have folks join on 'stage'. G can learn most anything with a week's notice (except Eddie's Eruption solo), so if there's a song you'd like to sing, and you are within a drive of Maynard, we'd love to have you at the open mic at Sanctuary.
Very cool vibe and a very supportive crowd, even if you're pretty rough around the edges or just starting out.
If you perform with Slot #6, your name goes on the next round of the extremely cool t-shirts, sported in the picture by the amazing Jacque Burns!

House Red
Lead guitar for THE BEST GB/Wedding/Corporate Band in New England, "House Red". Officially, it is called The Legendary House Red Band And Modeling Agency
Usually 9 people on stage, amazingly good, recent (and some not recent) Berklee College of Music graduates, fielding sometimes up to 2 electric fiddles, sax, keys, 6 front liners who can sing anything from Bee Gees to Janis and Aretha, mostly play Vermont (Stowe area during height of ski season) but numerous weddings and private events.
Snow Crow
Focused on original roots, Americana, and folk, Snow Crow play many earth and river festivals. Fronted by the uniquely creative Dan Fassett, their harmonies are breathtaking.

Roadworn Ramblers
G is occasionally honored to be asked to sit in on lead for this great Americana band. Featuring the incomparable Kat Brooks on vocals, they are a Massachusetts must-see!
